Concept sails has a specialist traction kite and water relaunchible kite repair and service workshop situated just a half mile from Poole harbor one of the UK’s most popular kite hot spots.
It is a sail loft owned and run by kiters who understand the importance of the intricate design features on all the differing styles and disciplines of the sport.

We have a huge stock of laminates, rip stop, spinnaker cloths and dacrons many of which have been supplied directly from the sail manufacturers to make it possible for exact colour matches and near invisible repairs. Our technical expertise and love for the sport coupled with top grade machinery and materials means can deliver a fast professional service. We have taken the time and expense to select machinery that is the same as that used in far east kite factories, we even use UV treated threads.- no ebay special sewing machines and have a go heroes here!

The Loft also shares a building with one of the British Kite Surfing Association offices and Easy Riders – one of the UK’s premier kite surf training and North Pro centre. The staff at Easy Riders really do know everything there is to know about setting up a kite and teach skills for first timers right up to training instructors. H20 Sports – one of the UK's leading watersports shops occupies the lower floor of the building so between the four of us we can sort out any kite issue you may have from a shell cut in your canopy to a BKSA instructor training course.

As we sail ourselves we appreciate the panic of a windy forecast. Concept sails offers a super fast turn around anyway but if you are in a real panic a 12 hour or for some jobs even a while you wait service is possible.

Sending us your kite

If you are unable to bring your kite to us in person, here are a few guide lines as to the best way to get it fixed

• If you require a quote first, you can either give us a call or send an email. A picture is really helpful for providing a quote although we can get you a ball park figure from a description.
• One of the easiest methods to send your kite will be parcelforce 48 at your local post office. Try to keep weight to a minimum by removing anything un necessary like the bar and lines and make sure the kite is as dry and sand free as it can be. This service should cost about £12. To upgrade to next day or first class will cost about another £5. We also recommend you take the extra insurance. Please make sure your contact details are in the package.
• We will contact you when we are working on your kite - usually within 2-3 days and we can arrange return delivery and payment. You can pay by card over the phone for immediate dispatch or bank transfer.
• Get your kite back, go sailing!

From time to time we get some kites abandoned by thier owners or that are simply beyond economical repair. We have turned our creative skills to re cycle these kites and come up with some cool stuff you may like. Keep an eye out for our online shop opening soon for more.

	These travel wallets are made using re cycled kite canopies and tough 600d nylon. They approx measure at 255 X 150mm and have compartments inside for your passport, tickets and other useful documents. They are cut randomly from kites so no two will be the same and they may have some print or branding on them. £12 ea including p&p

	The standard velcro closing three fold wallet made from the same kite canopy material and 600d nylon as the travel wallets. These too are cut randomly so no two will be the same. £12 ea including p&p

	The kite bar bag is made from recycled struts from kites with a full length zip. They will keep your bar and lines tidy and organised. They are made from random kites so colours and prints may differ from the picture. £12 ea including p&p

Padded laptop bag handmade using recycled kite canopy, 5mm board bag padding with a faux suede inner to protect your laptop. A velcro closure finishes off this stylish use of scrap kite cloth. Will fit a 15.5" laptop.
