Concept sails has a specialist traction kite and water relaunchible kite repair and service workshop situated just a half mile from Poole harbor one of the UK’s most popular kite hot spots.
It is a sail loft owned and run by kiters who understand the importance of the intricate design features on all the differing styles and disciplines of the sport.

We have a huge stock of laminates, rip stop, spinnaker cloths and dacrons many of which have been supplied directly from the sail manufacturers to make it possible for exact colour matches and near invisible repairs. Our technical expertise and love for the sport coupled with top grade machinery and materials means we are now recommended repairers for many top brands including North, Peter Lynn, Wipika, and Gaastra. As well as the brands, we also work closely with many UK retailers including Robin Hood, Poole Harbor Boards, Ski Surf, Surface to air Sports, H20 Sports and FC watersports.

 

The BKSA along with other UK training centres including Bray Lake Watersports and FC Academy use Concept Sails as their primary technical backup. The Loft also shares a building with the BKSA and Easy Riders – one of the UK’s premier kite surf training and North Pro centre. The staff at Easy Riders really do know everything there is to know about setting up a kite and teach skills for first timers right up to training instructors. Not Near Poole? No hassle, for a rough estimate, drop us an email with a photo where possible and we can get back to you with an action plan.
Alternately package up your kite and post it to us. On receipt we will open it up and give you a ring to have a chat about some repair options and prices.

As we sail ourselves we appreciate the panic of a windy forecast. Concept sails offers a super fast turn around anyway but if you are in a real panic a 12 hour or for some jobs even a while you wait service is possible.

Kite Cleaning

Get your kite professionally laundered from as little as £20.

Cleaning your kite will remove all salt, grit and sand prolonging the materials life span. It will also remove 95% of dirt and stains from the canopy, struts and leading edge. Whilst it is not necessary to get your kite cleaned every week, it is good to do of you are packing your kit away for a few weeks or you want to give the kite a bit more sparkle for re sale or just because it looks good!

We also clean your kite bag free to get the perfect image.

 

We get massive support from H20 sports and Easy Riders, so if your kite is totally destroyed they have a huge range of new and second hand kites to look through as well as all the other bits, advice and tuition to make it all come together.
